Ballard Norwegian Day Parade - May 17th

This trip is not associated with Spokane & Selah and does not require payment, however the permission slip sent home a couple of weeks ago needs to be returned.

Uniforms should be brought to school Monday and can be dropped off in the band room that morning. White band pants should be clean, ironed and at the correct hem length. Wear black Drillmaster marching shoes, black socks, white undergarments and tuck in your band shirt. Also make sure your black belt is properly put in each belt loop and that it is fastened military style.

Tentative Itinerary
Date:   Monday May 17th, 2010

Place :  "Syttende Mai" Parade (Seventeenth of May), Norwegian Day Parade - Ballard, WA

2:30 PM:  Chaperons Arrive at OV to prepare for trip

4:00 PM:  Students stay after school and depart for Ballard.

8:45 PM:  Students return from Ballard

DRIVING PARENTS:   The parade starts near Adams School in Ballard, at the corner of NW 62nd and 24th Avenue NW. The route follows south to Market Street and eastward to Bergen Place. If you are driving your student home from the parade, please let us know ahead of time and sign out your student with a head chaperone otherwise all five buses will be stalled waiting for your student.
